We're looking for an experienced Plater Roller Operator in Morgan City. The Plate Roll Operator/Welder operates plate rolls to bend and shape metal. The operator reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements per job.

Duties

•Ensure that all tools such as torches and welding equipment are set up properly
•Ensure the programs are loaded into the machine by setting the required parameters for each job
•Ensure optimal performance of the equipment
•Always work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries following all safety regulations
•Communicate directly with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
•Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
•Ensure correct measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
•Ensure all work referenced above is completed at an acceptable productivity level for employee's classification and experience level
