Job summary

nVent Enclosure Systems LLC in Florida seeks a plate roll operator to feed aluminum sheets, set radii, and monitor roll quality in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You’ll load parts with a vacuum lifter, adjust roll settings, perform tack welds on completed pieces, and keep precise production counts while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards on a shift. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Able to read tape measure to 1/16th.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to prioritize based on production schedules.
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Forklift certification required.
• Able to lift items up to 40 lbs. and spend shift standing.

Responsibilities

• Reference print to confirm number of sheets and radius to be rolled.
• Adjust settings on the plate roll machine for the correct radius and material thickness.
• Load sheets of aluminum into the machine using a vacuum lifter and roller table.
• Operate machine using joystick-style hand controls (toggle switches).
• Stop machine upon completion of roll; check rolled aluminum for roundness, correct radius, and alignment of ends.
