Job summary

Prysmian in North Las Vegas is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Plastics Department to schedule, coordinate, and execute daily production plans. You will assign work, ensure equipment runs to standard, monitor quality, manage inventory, and mentor hourly staff.

You will serve as the first-response leader for safety, review material requirements, enforce facility rules, and drive a culture of on-time delivery and continuous improvement through training and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in injection molding.
• Previous supervision experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
• Must have good mechanical knowledge and hands-on abilities.
• Good computer skills and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Directs shift to ensure on-time production.
• Oversees daily activities of personnel manufacturing parts per specs and quality standards.
• Conducts daily pre-shift meetings and training.
• Reviews schedules and determines materials, machines, tooling requirements and sequencing.
• Ensures 5S standards and good housekeeping.
• Approves timecards and participates in payroll adjustments.
