Night-Shift Lean Production Supervisor

Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee daily production, ensure schedules, manage staffing, and uphold safety and lean manufacturing standards. You will lead production operators, coordinate with team leads, and address barriers to keep production flowing efficiently.

In this role you will coach staff, document standard work, monitor PTO/LOA, and collaborate with Plant leadership on improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in team-based manufacturing.
• At least three years of management experience.
• One year or more of training/coaching experience.
• Proficient with SAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends and holidays in a 2-2-3 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain workflow for assigned production lines.
• Partner with Team Leads to manage product flow between all production departments.
• Communicate daily productivity goals, statuses, potential barriers, safety concerns, and other pertinent metrics/data.
• Maintain open communication with leadership and document occurrences as needed; update standard work.
• Collaborate with Production Unit Managers and Plant Manager for changes to standard work.
• Coach team members and coordinate with HR for changes to roles, promotions, and terminations.
• Fill in on the production floor as needed to support operational needs.
