Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Process/Manufacturing Engineering Engineer/Technician in Reno, NV to develop and improve processes within the Site Process/Manufacturing Engineering group. You will coach teams, support QRQC activities, and assist in analysis to meet technical specs and schedules.

You will work with SQA, suppliers and internal units to reduce defects using PDCA and 5S, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience with 3–5 years in Production, preferably automotive.
• Highly skilled Process Engineer with molding experience and ability to take technical ownership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving parts issues.
• Excellent communication with external vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular QRQC activities and escalate to management as needed.
• Plan and coordinate design, process improvement, and manufacturing engineering tasks.
• Estimate workforce needs and schedule work to meet dates and specs.
• Collaborate with multiple units and suppliers to improve methods and equipment.
• Drive IP and VPS tools usage (5S, PDCA, problem solving).
• Review production schedules with Master Scheduler and ensure compliance with roadmaps.
