Job summary

Valeo in the United States is seeking a Process/Manufacturing Engineering Engineer/Technician to develop or improve molding and production processes within the Plastics Methods and Process Engineering department. You will plan, coach, and coordinate activities while ensuring QRQC quality improvements.

You will review schedules, analyze issues, and lead problem-solving teams with cross-functional allies. An Associate Degree with 3–5 years in production, preferably automotive, is required; strong

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with 3–5 years in Production.
• Process Engineer with molding experience and able to take ownership with technical decisions when required.
• Process Engineer able to make bad parts better.
• Able to analyze and solve problems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to speak with outside vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop or improve new processes in Plastics Methods and Process Engineering.
• Support QRQC activities and escalate as needed.
• Plan and schedule advanced industrial engineering assignments related to design, process improvement or development.
• Review production schedules with Master Scheduler and align with roadmaps.
• Organize problem solving groups with cross-functional and supplier teams to define action plans.
