Job summary

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have 4+ years of relevant experience, with experience in manufacturing equipment, ergonomics, PLCs, robotics, and developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and ergonomics
• Experience with PLCs and robotics preferred
• Experience writing work instructions and process documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead production efficiency in assembly and industrialization for new product programs
• Share know-how of industrial processes in respective domain
• Participate in the design of new equipment and new line
• Perform trials on the equipment and deliver reports
• Work on cycle time reduction to optimize investment, material & labor cost
• Support production technicians to train and problem solve
• Participate in Valeo production system workshops, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
