Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a hands-on Plastics Operator to manage multifaceted manufacturing lines, ensuring correct set points, quality verification, and timely production. You will operate extrusion and injection equipment, perform checks, and document results in a fast-paced environment.

We value mechanical aptitude, the ability to read drawings, and strong attention to detail. Competitive pay starts at $18 per hour with shift differential, plus growth opportunities and a referral bonus

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with plastic molding equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection blow mold, injection mold, labeling, pad printing, and silk-screen equipment.
• Set up machines, verify set points, monitor production and quality, and perform minor maintenance.
• Run in-process quality checks and adjust machines to meet specifications.
• Document issues, causes, and resolutions; record production/quality data.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and assist with training and coverage as needed.

You’ll ensure machines operate at the right set points, keep equipment maintained, and respond quickly to keep production on track.Key contributionsChampion safety by adhering to all company safety policies and practices.Start machines and routinely validate that set points are accurate.Operate extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection blow mold, injection mold, labeling, pad printing, and silk-screen equipment.Maintain proper function: clean filters, perform minor maintenance, and monitor while purging.Verify correct sleeves, boxes, labels, and materials by part numbers for each run.Keep M.O.
