Job summary

Pretium Packaging is hiring for an on-site Plastic Molding Operator to set up and run molding equipment, monitor quality and throughput, and perform routine maintenance. You will inspect parts, troubleshoot issues, manage materials, and keep a clean, safe workspace while adhering to procedures and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with plastics processes, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production setting; experience with molding

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished parts and take corrective action to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain raw material inventory and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean workspace.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

This position pays between $19.00 - $20.00 an hourAre you the go-to problem solver on the line?If dialing in a molding machine, chasing down a process variance, and turning out flawless parts sounds like a great day, Pretium Packaging would like to meet you. We have multiple openings for operators ready to own quality, uptime, and safety on our thermoplastics lines.Imagine this scenarioA rush order drops. You quickly set up the plastic molding machine using standard procedures, verify materials, and bring the line to rate. Mid-run, you spot a cosmetic defect, adjust parameters, and perform a quick maintenance check. You pull samples, compare to drawings, document results, and coordinate with your supervisor to replenish resin before the next job.
