Job summary

AU Health seeks an APP/PA to provide patient-centered care in a multi-specialty plastic surgery team, in ambulatory and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include clinic management, preoperative planning, and first assist in the operating room under physician lead.

Role requires NP with Masters in Nursing or PA with NCCPA, GA licensure if applicable, and BLS. Involves coordinating with schedulers, RNs, and the plastics clinic team for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Nursing and ANCC (or equivalent) certification.
• Alternative: Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification and GA licensure (or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification and credentialing in the designated specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in ambulatory and inpatient settings with plastic surgery team.
• Work as a stand-alone provider managing weekly clinic and pre/postoperative care.
• Assist in the operating room and coordinate with schedulers and RNs for surgeries.
