Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) for its Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery division. The role combines ambulatory clinic management, preoperative planning, and inpatient rounding to support a multi-specialty team.

The APP will serve as stand-alone and in collaboration with physicians, performing assessments, planning procedures, and providing postoperative education while ensuring high-quality care and patient safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing for NP track with ANCC certification or GA RN Advanced Practice licensure.
• PA must be certified by NCCPA and licensed to practice in GA; maintain CME requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in ambulatory and inpatient plastic surgery settings.
• Perform first assist duties in the operating room.
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and informed consent; coordinate with schedulers and RNs.
