Job summary
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA) to join a collegial plastic surgery team at the St. Francis Hospital campus in Federal Way.
The APP will care for pre- and postoperative patients in cosmetic and reconstructive breast, body, and face procedures under the supervision of a Plastic Surgeon. Qualifications
- At least one year of ARNP or PA experience.
- Surgical experience as an APP is preferred.
- Washington State license in good standing.
- Board certified; DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations, record medical histories, and diagnose under surgeon's supervision.
- Assists with surgeries and inpatient rounding.
- Consult with physicians to assess patient condition and treatment.
- Ensure medical charts and billing are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide same-day care for acute illnesses or minor injuries.
