Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to join our collegial plastic surgery team. The successful candidate will support pre- and post-operative care across reconstructive and cosmetic procedures under the supervision of a Plastic Surgeon on site at St.

Francis Hospital. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, surgical assistance, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be ARNP or Physician Assistant with surgical experience preferred.
• Board certification and active license in Washington required.
• DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and document medical histories under surgeon supervision.
• Assist with surgeries and inpatient rounds.
• Consult with physicians to assess patient condition and treatment.
• Maintain medical charts, patient billing and related administrative duties.
• Provide patient education and continuity of care between visits.
