Job summary

Franciscan Medical Group in Federal Way is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA) to join a busy plastic surgery practice under a Plastic Surgeon. The role includes pre/post-operative care, assisting in surgeries, and contributing to cost-effective, patient-centered care on campus of St. Francis Hospital.

The position offers Monday–Friday shifts with potential evening flexibility. Requires ARNP/PA experience, WA license, board certification, and prescriptive authority; BLS certification

Qualifications

• At least one year experience as ARNP or PA.
• Surgical experience as an APP preferred.
• Washington State license in good standing.
• Board certification.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations, record medical histories, and formulate accurate diagnoses under surgeon supervision.
• Assist with surgeries and inpatient rounds.
• Consult with physicians to assess patient condition and treatment.
• Ensure medical charts and related admin duties are completed timely.
• Provide same-day care for acute illness or minor injuries.
• Participate in development and implementation of clinic policies.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures and participate in professional development.
• Attend required meetings and committees as assigned.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide continuity of care between physician visits.
• Educate patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
