Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery at the Park Avenue Clinic in Denver, CO. Work with two plastic surgeons and another APP to care for patients seeking reconstructive procedures after cancer or trauma.

You will be part of a nationally recognized health system, with privileges at St. Joseph Hospital, and a supportive benefits package including CME allowances.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• AANP or NCCPA certification.
• Current Colorado medical license or ability to obtain; BLS and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optimal patient care through clinical practice.
• Educate patients and families, and clinical staff as needed.
• Consult with other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• See reconstructive surgery patients with the plastic surgery team.

Job description

This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. The responsibilities are:

• deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice
• education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others
• consultation with other healthcare providers
• maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes

About this role

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work with two plastic surgeons and another APP and see patients seeking reconstructive procedures following cancer or trauma.

This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance based upon distance

You will practice at the Park Avenue Clinic in Denver, CO with privileges at St. Joseph Hospital

Your hours will be (4) 10.0 hr. days

You will be seeing on average 12 - 14 patients per day in the clinic for pre, post op and some new patient appointments
