Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Technician for the 2nd shift to set up, monitor, and troubleshoot blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion molding equipment. You will perform routine changeovers, monitor processes, and ensure product quality while adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. You will collaborate with maintenance and senior technicians to maintain smooth daily production operations and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues independently.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and molding processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and troubleshoot blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion molding machinery.
• Perform routine machine set ups and changeovers between production runs.
• Communicate machinery issues to maintenance.
• Maintain production data logs and perform quality checks.
• Train junior technicians as needed.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
