Job summary

Greif is a global packaging leader seeking a Plastic Technician for 2nd shift to operate and support blow molding, extrusion and related plastics equipment in a high-demand manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes set up, changeovers, quality checks, and safety, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and contribute to OEE improvements. A High School diploma and 2–4 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience with blow molding, injection molding or extrusion molding preferred.
• Ability to read SOPs and operate production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot molding machinery.
• Perform routine machine changeovers between production runs.
• Operate and monitor plastic molding and extrusion equipment.
• Maintain production data and maintenance logs.
• Ensure quality checks and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Train junior technicians as needed.
• Support OEE improvements and process optimization.
• Adhere to PPE and safety standards.
