Job summary

Greif is seeking a Lead Plastic Technician to oversee blow molding, injection molding and extrusion processes in a hands-on leadership role in Texas. You will supervise colleagues, troubleshoot complex equipment, adjust process parameters and coordinate with production to meet schedules.

You will drive improvements to reduce downtime, enhance quality and ensure safety compliance, leveraging your deep plastics knowledge and diagnostic skills across production lines.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills including electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, compressors, chillers and PLCs.
• Able to troubleshoot machine maintenance issues and apply corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of plastics materials, manufacturing processes, and machinery operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations, set up, monitor and troubleshoot molding machinery.
• Lead others in operating plastic molding and extrusion equipment; assist maintenance.
• Monitor schedules; coordinate with supervisors to meet deadlines.
