Job summary

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is seeking an Associate Plastic Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:45 PM–11 PM) at our Texas facility. This entry-level role trains in blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion processes while supporting setup, operation and basic maintenance.

You will learn to monitor production, perform quality checks, and follow SOPs and safety guidelines, collaborating with senior technicians and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 0–2 years experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of plastic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery operations.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Adherence to safety protocols in manufacturing.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting molding machinery.
• Assist in preparing materials and loading into machines.
• Document production data and maintenance activities.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure product specifications.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines during production.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors to run daily operations.
