Job summary

The Step2 Company in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Powder Room (Material Processor) for a full-time 6AM to 6PM shift. The role involves pulverizing resin pellets, blending powders, and supporting the line with material handling in a busy plastics production environment.

Responsibilities

• Pulverize pellets by grinding them into powder and operate self-feed dual mill electric pulverizers to maximize output.
• Monitor amp meters, heat gauges and pressure meters; record results.
• Change blades and make mill adjustments as needed.
• Mix ground virgin powder with pigments or dyes; weigh and sift into mixers.
• Transport blended powder to molding machines and handle line stocking tasks.
• Grind scrap plastic parts on Cumberland grinder; inspect parts for stickers or metal and clean grinder between color changes.
