Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, INC. is seeking a 2nd shift Blending Operator to manufacture a variety of dry powders within set specifications and ensure blend quality.

You will document processes, verify raw materials, work with QA to meet FDA and GMP standards, maintain a safe, clean workspace, and comply with all GMP policies. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be flexible for overtime. The role involves attention to lot information and accurate paperwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment with blending powdered materials.
• Ability to use calculator and other measurement instruments.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Flexibility for overtime when needed.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks timely.

Responsibilities

• Verify raw materials are present and accurate in quantity and lot information before blending.
• Add each raw material in the specified order according to blending instructions.
• Discharge materials and powders into containers and document the process.
• Follow all blending instructions.
• Communicate with QA to maintain FDA and state regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Comply with GMP policies.
• Accurately measure conversions and ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize equipment according to GMP standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
