Job summary

Boltaron in Newcomerstown, OH is seeking a Blend System Operator for the Plastic Compound line (Afternoon Shift 3pm-11pm). You will set up and operate the blend systems, weighing and batching raw materials to ensure batches stay within tolerance under the supervision of the production supervisor.

Required are a HS diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Hand tools and measuring devices (micrometer, tape measure) are required.
• Demonstration of good communication skills.
• Technical capacity and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow production work orders/recipes to mix raw material batches for production.
• Utilize mixing equipment and tumblers to weigh and sift compounds.
• Ensure batches are within tolerance.
• Stage all batches for production line use.
• Complete daily inventory checks.
• Clean all containers and equipment to prevent contamination.
