Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Illinois is hiring a Machine Operator to set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance to ensure quality. You will inspect finished products, read technical drawings, and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Prior experience with plastic molding is preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, and adherence to safety protocols is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation and adjust as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
• Maintain inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
