Job summary

EnviCor Rotomolding LLC in Smithfield, NC is seeking a diligent machine operator to join our plastics team. You will read and follow safety procedures, operate and assist with mold changes, load materials, and help keep the line productive while maintaining quality.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work in a hot environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly about issues and inventory. No prior supervisory experience is required, but a proactive attitude and ability to take

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or comparable work experience.
• Plastic manufacturing experience or supervisory role is a plus.
• Be prompt and dependable.
• Ability to work in hot environment on your feet.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capacity to provide, receive and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow safety and operational instructions.
• Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Perform/Assist with machine operations.
• Perform/Assist with mold changes.
• Load powder, remove molded part from mold.
• Keep pace with machine cycle times.
• Perform secondary operations with use of power tools.
• Maintain quality standards and report deviations.
• Be a teammate that others depend upon.
• Communicate inventory needs as it relates to daily activities.
• Communicate any machine or equipment issues promptly.
