Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator to oversee plastics production from start-up to close-out. You’ll set machine points, monitor performance, perform routine maintenance, and ensure parts meet specs through in-process checks.

You will rotate through extrusion blow molding, extrusion, injection blow molding, injection molding, labeling, pad printing, and silk-screen units, while maintaining data records and training teammates. Safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with plastic molding machines preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with packaging, plastics, and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start up production machines and confirm set points.
• Operate extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection blow mold, injection mold, label, pad printer, and silk-screen equipment.
• Verify correct sleeves, boxes, labels, and materials by part numbers.
• Document weights and process check sheets; monitor quality.
• Troubleshoot line issues and coordinate repairs; restart machines after maintenance.
• Provide relief coverage for breaks and lunches; train Technician Operators.
