Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician in Illinois to support packaging, labeling and visual quality inspection on the production line.

The role includes assisting Line Operators with start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute to meeting production goals, learn pipe specifications, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, while working a full-time schedule

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform physical labor in fluctuating temperatures.
• Stand and move for 8-12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Perform final visual inspections and label finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe per SOP and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain a safe workplace and use PPE at all times.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, and shutdowns.
