Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician to handle packaging, labeling and visual quality inspection on the production line. The role supports Line Operators with start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes, ensuring safety and production goals are met.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, dependable, and able to learn new skills quickly in a fast-paced environment. The job includes 40+ hours per week with weekend requirements and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe to be delivered to customers per SOPs.
• Maintain a safe working environment with proper PPE.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns and downstream equipment setup.
• Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Practice continuous improvement including line and facility housekeeping.
