Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. You will package, label and visually inspect products, assist line operators with start-ups and changeovers, and help meet production goals.

This role requires lifting and standing for long periods and working 40+ hours including weekends. We value safety, reliability, and continuous improvement, and offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities as part of a global network of plants

Responsibilities

Embrace a culture of safety.
Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods.
Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
Utilize standard operating procedures to package pipe to be delivered to customers.
Maintain a safe working environment with PPE usage.
Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns and downstream equipment set-up.
Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
Engage in continuous improvement and facility housekeeping.
Invest in your career with ADS and participate in training programs.
