Job summary

Ravago's Baytown facility seeks a quality-focused technician to monitor and maintain product quality across the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with Quality, Laboratory, Environmental and Safety systems. You will perform mold/testing, provide production support, prepare data for certifications, and maintain lab cleanliness while training staff for in-process inspections.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage time, organize, and set priorities.
• Forklift experience required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain product quality in accordance with Quality, Laboratory, Environmental and Safety systems.
• Provide production process support; confident to shut down an extruder if needed.
• Prepare data for lot certifications and enter SPC data from testing.
• Prepare customer samples for external testing and shipment.
• Perform in-process color sampling, measurement and adjustments.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization; perform equipment PMs and verifications.
• Support receiving with material inspection, testing and approval.
• Train and assist manufacturing personnel to perform in-process inspections.
