Job summary

Ravago Manufacturing Americas (RMA Baytown) seeks a Quality Lab Associate to monitor product quality and support production under Quality, Laboratory, Environmental, and Safety systems.

Responsibilities include molding and testing plastic specimens, data entry for SPC and lot certifications, and preparing samples for external testing and shipment. Requires 1–2 years in manufacturing and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (plastic experience preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage time, organize and set priorities.
• Forklift experience required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Mold & test plastic specimens.
• Provide production process support; confident to shut down an extruder when a quality concern arises.
• Assist with re-work, formulation, SPC reaction plan adjustments and SOC changes as necessary to produce product within specification.
• Prepare data for lot certifications and enter SPC data from off-line testing.
• Prepare customer samples for external testing and customer shipment.
