Howmet Aerospace in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Plastic Injector on a full-time, on-site basis. Shift is Monday–Friday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Salary ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, starting at $17.

Under supervision of the Production Area Lead, you will operate a plastic injection machine to produce a variety of parts and ensure quality. You will meet department production needs, confirm the first piece with the supervisor on each setup, and manage machine parameters such as cycle, temperature and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating plastic injection machines.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• General manufacturing experience.
• Able to work and communicate as part of a cell team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a plastic injection machine to produce a variety of parts.
• Be responsible for the quality of the pieces you shoot.
• Meet department production needs.
• Show the supervisor the first piece you shoot on each setup.
• Manage cycle, temperature, and pressure settings on the machines.
• Notify Leader or Manufacturing Mgr. if setup or operation is problematic.
• Visually inspect parts for defects.
