Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Plastic Injector to operate a plastic injection machine, ensure part quality, and meet daily production goals on a Monday–Friday schedule, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, you will adjust cycle, temperature, and pressure settings, inspect parts, wear PPE, and participate in a safety-minded cell team. Minimum high school diploma; 1 year experience preferred; wage $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 1 year experience operating plastic injection machine
• General Manufacturing Experience
• Ability to work and communicate as part of a cell team

Responsibilities

• Operate a plastic injection machine to produce parts
• Ensure quality of parts produced
• Meet department production needs
• Show first piece you shoot on each setup to supervisor
• Set and monitor machine parameters (cycle, temperature, pressure, weigh feeder)
• Notify Leader or Manufacturing Mgr of setup/operation issues
• Visually inspect parts for defects
