Job summary

Armada Staffing Group in Akron, OH is seeking a dependable Plastic Injection Molding Operator to run molding equipment, monitor processes, and ensure parts are produced safely and efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to a clean, organized work area.

Shift is 1st 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, pay rate $12.00 with $13.00 for overtime, weekly pay, full-time hours, and contract-to-hire opportunities.

Qualifications

• Operate plastic injection molding machines according to established production procedures.
• Load and monitor materials used in the molding process.
• Start, stop, and monitor machines while watching for equipment or production issues.
• Inspect molded parts for defects, such as cracks, flash, warping, or other quality concerns.
• Remove finished parts and perform trimming/deburring or other basic finishing activities.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Identify machine or product issues and notify the supervisor or maintenance personnel.
• Keep the workstation and production area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
• Meet established production, quality, and attendance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Previous experience in plastic injection molding or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Plastic Injection Molding Operator to operate injection molding equipment and ensure plastic parts are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently. The operator will monitor machines, inspect finished products, perform basic trimming and finishing, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Pay Rate: $12.00 / work 40 hours will be paid $13.00 Shift/Hours: 1st Shift / 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
