Job summary

Dynamic Tool Corporation seeks a Process Engineer to develop and improve plastic injection molding processes. You will apply data-driven problem solving and scientific molding to validate processes, reduce scrap, and support new product introductions with production, tooling, and quality teams.

The role is hands-on on the shop floor, requiring analytical skills and experience in molding, validation, and continuous improvement to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in plastic injection molding.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with scientific molding and process validation preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems.
• Experience with mold trials and cross-functional teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, validate, and maintain robust injection molding processes using scientific molding principles.
• Lead process setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for programs.
• Analyze process data, cycle times, scrap, defects, and equipment performance to reduce variation.
• Support mold trials, sampling, capability studies, and transfer of validated processes into production.
• Collaborate with Tooling, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain setup sheets, process documentation, work instructions, and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and training to process technicians, supervisors, operators.
• Support customer requirements, audits, corrective actions, and new product introductions.
