Job summary

Dynamic Tool Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, validate, and optimize plastic injection molding processes on the production floor. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient production and support new product introductions.

The role requires hands-on data analysis, scientific molding principles, and the ability to reduce variation and scrap while meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in plastic injection molding.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, plastics technology, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience with mold trials, product launches, and cross-functional teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain injection molding processes.
• Lead process setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze process data, cycle time, scrap, defects, and equipment performance.
• Support mold trials, capability studies, and transfer of validated processes into production.
• Collaborate with Tooling, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain setup sheets, process documentation, work instructions, reports, and related technical records.
• Recommend improvements to tooling, equipment, materials, automation, and processing methods.
• Provide technical guidance and training to process technicians, supervisors, operators, and other team members.
• Support customer requirements, audits, corrective actions, and new product introduction activities.
