Job summary

Amcor Limited in Idaho seeks a diligent packaging operator to set up and run manufacturing equipment for plastic film and bag production. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, with emphasis on changeovers and maintaining yields across lines.

Applicant should have a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months in manufacturing or as a Packer 2. This entry-level role offers growth in a large global packaging company with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months experience as a Packer 2 and/or 3–6 months in manufacturing.
• Ability to use hand tools and measure with instruments.
• Ability to read and understand a traveler (BOM) and weigh/record data.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and adjust equipment to produce quality bags.
• Follow safety, GMP and ISO policies.
• Maintain safe, 6-S workspace and conduct daily inspections.
• Inspect quality data and report variances to leadership.
• Assist in changeovers and maintain yields.
