Job summary

Amcor Limited in North Carolina is seeking a production operator to set up and run packaging lines, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role involves moving finished goods to the warehouse and following production order documents precisely.

You will assist in maintaining GMP and EH&S policies, support other production areas, and participate in inventory labeling and reporting. The position requires teamwork, reliability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience in a plastic manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of Word and related software.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be a team player, detail oriented and honest.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all equipment to maintain safe, efficient operations and quality.
• Package and inspect customer products.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices and EH&S policies.
• Transport finished goods from production to the warehouse.
• Follow production orders to ensure supplies are correct at the machine.
• Support other production areas, rework units in holdware and quarantine areas.
• Count rejected units, labels, with adequate documentation.
• Manage inventory movement tickets and label cartons.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.
