Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Plastic Fabricator to join our in-house manufacturing team in San Jose, CA. You will work hands-on with high-performance thermoplastic materials to build components for our wet bench systems and semiconductor processing equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of plastic fabrication experience, reads blueprints, and is proficient with hand and power tools. This on-site, permanent role offers competitive pay, full benefits, PTO, and occasional domestic travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on plastic fabrication, welding, or related manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with precision tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Team-oriented and capable in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, weld, and fabricate components from PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate parts to specification.
• Work directly with design engineers to ensure components meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Operate equipment including routers, table saws, drills, and hand tools safely and accurately.
• Support the assembly of custom wet bench systems and semiconductor processing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in occasional domestic travel for field support or installation as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on plastic fabrication, welding, or related manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with precision hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment

Bonus Points

• Experience with PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, or Teflon fabrication specifically
• Cabinet making, carpentry, or millwork background
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-purity manufacturing environments
