Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Monroe, LA is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to execute plasmapheresis procedures, including venipuncture, while ensuring safety and quality.

You will uphold state and federal regulations, maintain donor confidentiality, and document machine logs and procedures. This role requires strong customer service, the ability to work day/evening hours, and readiness to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completion of training appropriate for duties prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures with a focus on safety and quality.
• Maintain donor experience and comply with SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP requirements.
• Set up equipment, monitor donor conditions, label units, and document machine logs.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and manage donor adverse events.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machines; assist with QA and CAPA initiatives.
• Mentor teammates as a designated trainer and support continuous improvement.
