Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a compassionate team member to execute plasmapheresis procedures and venipunctures. You will ensure donor safety, maintain donor confidentiality, and support a compliant, high-quality donor experience across a fast-paced center.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, operating automated plasmapheresis machines, troubleshooting alarms, and documenting all steps. Expect to maintain cleanliness, inventory, and adherence to safety protocols daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis process and venipunctures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA and GMP.
• Deliver high-quality donor service and protect donor confidentiality.
• Set up equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis, label units accurately.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and troubleshoot alarms.
• Dispose of biohazardous waste and clean spills per safety protocols.
• Maintain machine logs and document donor information.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory, and assist with shift scheduling.
