Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in Belleville, PA seeks a Plasma Table Programmer/Designer to optimize plasma cutting from detailed prints and diagrams, minimizing waste while also handling mechanical design for machinery and devices.

The role is on-site, temp to possible permanent, and requires plasma table programming experience. CAD/Inventor proficiency and ProNest knowledge are preferred; travel for site visits is minimal.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in mechanical/structural design or exposure to equipment blueprints/drawings.
• Inventor or CAD software experience.
• ProNest programming experience or something similar.
• Ability to assess fabrication drawings to determine which parts need plasma cut and identify any irregularities with specific parts that may require attention or alterations.
• Ability to maintain inventory of remnant plates available in the sop.
• Trouble shoot plasma table software.
• Ability to deliver printed nest documents to plasma table operator which include appropriate information for work order number of each part and material specifications.
• Some travel is required for site visits/measuring trips (minimal)

Responsibilities

• Program plasma table based on prints to optimize material usage and minimize waste.

• Prepare and deliver nest documents and work orders to the plasma table operator with part numbers and material specs.

I have a client located in the Belleville, PA area that has an opportunity for a Plasma Table Programmer/Designer.

In this role you will be working as a Plasma Table Programmer/Designer for a client that is in the custom machinery industry. This role is responsible for using prints and diagrams of products to be produced to determine how to best use sheets of steel and minimize waste. This position will also be doing design for machinery and mechanical devices.

This is a temp to possible perm role that must be performed on-site. The design side of this role can be taught but candidates must have plasma table programming experience.
