IES in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Burn Table Programmer to join our engineering team. You will program CNC nests for Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting, adjust processes for quality, and read blueprints to determine tolerances and trim stock.

The role requires experience with metal fabrication, inventory awareness, and familiarity with measuring tools. You will collaborate across functions, manage deadlines, and support continuous improvement of burn table operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in metal fabrication or CNC machining preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC nests for Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting tables.
• Adjust processes (speed, tip size, gas pressures, kerf, torch height) for quality.
• Identify raw material size and grade requirements for work orders.
• Support inventory management of flat steel plate and burn table prioritization.
• Read drawings to ensure proper trim stock and part quality.
