Job summary

GPLC is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to approve incoming plasma shipment documentation and production units, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory specifications. You will document non-conformances and deviations, and communicate adjustments to QA supervision.

In this role you will inspect final plasma lot shipments, follow cGMP guidelines, contribute to SOP updates, and maintain meticulous records in the company system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of Quality Assurance experience.
• 2 years working in pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, plasma/blood banking, or medical device industries is ideal.
• Working knowledge of cGMP is helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Approve incoming plasma shipment documentation by confirming specifications and reject or return unacceptable materials.
• Generate and document non-conformance of plasma units or procedures associated with shipments or final plasma lots.
• Approve Production Units by confirming customer and regulatory specifications and communicate adjustments to QA Supervisor.
• Inspect final outgoing plasma lot shipments to ensure pallets are properly packaged and loaded for sales and distribution.
• Investigate and report in-process or final products and processes that do not meet quality specifications, documenting deviation reports.
• Participate in writing or revising policies and SOPs related to Source Plasma and quality systems at GPLC.
• Execute repetitive functions with strict adherence to procedures and maintain record accountability.
• Document approval activities in the organization's computer system.
