Job summary

B Positive Plasma - Wilmington is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the QA Manager and Center leadership. You will ensure product integrity and donor health by adhering to FDA, state, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and SOP guidelines while performing audits, documentation, and release decisions.

The role involves operating QC instruments, managing storage, coordinating shipments, training staff, and traveling up to 25 miles for cross-site support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; higher degrees preferred in management or science.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ethical practice and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Organize product in storage freezer and maintain FIFO inventory.
• Perform QA review of products before shipment.
• Operate QC instruments and manage donor samples.
• Document maintenance and operational activities per SOP.
• Support QA Manager and Center Manager with training and audits.
• Oversee receipt and management of inventory and supplies.
• Oversee release and shipment of biohazard waste.
• Pack and ship samples to the testing lab.
• Communicate deviations to QA Manager and assist equipment qualification.
• Travel up to 25 miles for training or cross-site support.
• Other duties as assigned.
