Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to the freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored according to SOPs, including handling unsuitable plasma units and samples.
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels to ensure accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and seal with heat to maintain sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping documents and unit disposal paperwork as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report equipment issues; log variances.
