Job summary

CSL Vifor Minnesota is hiring a Plasma Lab Technician to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting plasma samples, moving units to the freezer, verifying labels, maintaining SOPs, monitoring temperatures, documenting donor data and ensuring safety. Some overtime and cross-training may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored properly according to SOPs.
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality of plasma unit samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
