Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Plasma Sample Technician to accurately sample, test, ship, and store plasma from donors at our Syracuse facility. You will follow SOPs, move units to freezers, and ensure proper labeling and sterility throughout the process.

The role requires basic math skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to HSE/OSHA policies. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least 3 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to maintain product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma as required.
• Verify labels against dynamic labels to ensure accurate unit identification.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality of samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation per SOPs and center procedures.
