Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a plasmapheresis technician to execute the plasmapheresis process, including venipuncture, equipment setup, and sample labeling. The role emphasizes donor safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality plasma collection in a fast-paced center.

You will ensure adherence to FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards while delivering excellent donor service and maintaining meticulous documentation and machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 months experience in a medical/healthcare setting or equivalent.
• Completed training documentation prior to duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain donor experience and high customer service.
• Set up equipment and perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units accurately.
• Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality.
