Job summary

Qualifications

• External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist; one year preferred.
• Internal CSL Employees must have completed the CSL Plasma DST training.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection, including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Venipuncture to begin pheresis process.
• Evaluate vein performance and adjust processes to ensure donor safety and efficiency.
• Educate new donors on screening, health tests, appointment systems, and center policies.
• Record incidents and donor data using the electronic donor information management system.
