Job summary

CSL in Tampa, FL is seeking a Plasma Processing Technician to ensure accurate sampling, labeling, and storage of donor plasma. You will follow SOPs, maintain sterility, and assist with shipping and data recording.

The role requires basic math, a high school diploma, and 3 months of relevant experience. You may work overtime in a fast-paced environment with strict safety policies and possible bilingual requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer per SOP.
• Store plasma units according to SOP; handle unsuitable plasma as needed.
• Ensure unit labeling matches the dynamic label for accuracy.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and heat seal to maintain sterility.
• Pack and ship samples; prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and report variances.
• Calibrate equipment daily as per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; maintain confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual may be required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
